Darin “DC” Curtis is a Windsor, Ontario native, who has been residing in the United States since 2013. He is an accomplished studio recording artist and touring musician. DC has been playing drums for over 4 decades, and has been performing since the age of 5. In his early years as a musician, Darin also played the tuba, performing regularly in parades, field shows, and marching band competitions across Canada and the United States. However, his passion for music began with the drums, and he has been playing them ever since.

 DC has shared the stage with several international recording artists including Warrant, Honeymoon Suite, Glass Tiger, April Wine, Tantric, Kim Mitchell, Harem Scarem, The Killer Dwarfs, Helix, and more. He also had the privilege of performing at the Detroit Grand Prix, opening for The B-52s.

 Darin began his recording career in the early 1990’s in London, Ontario. He was a songwriter, drummer, and backing vocalist for a London based original band called Aces Wild. During that time, the band released two original albums and toured extensively across Canada. DC continued to perform internationally at casinos, festivals, and other events on a regular basis with his popular Windsor/Detroit area tribute band until 2019.

 Through the course of his career as a musician, songwriting and recording original music remained a priority. In 2017, DC joined the Detroit based original pop/rock band called Elsie Binx. Before leaving the band in 2025, they released several singles, an acoustic E.P., a full length album, music videos, toured extensively across the U.S., and won a Detroit Music Award in 2021.

Darin Curtis released his first solo original song called, Your Time Is Now, on June 26, 2026. A follow up video is expected with more new music from DC on the way! Stay tuned!
